Supporting the parents of your students through adult education to gain necessary skills
Adult education can provide opportunities for parent to learn important technology skills, digital literacy, and much more. Gaining these skills empowers parents to support their children's education. By partnering with district adult education programs, administrators support the local community, parents and children. OTAN provides adult schools with technology integration professional development at no cost as well as support and training for helping teachers incorporate online and blended learning for their adult learners. In addition to free online resources, OTAN has also developed online courses using Moodle to support adult English Language Learners as well as low-literacy adult seeking to transition to college or career.
